St. Michael Public School recently hosted its vibrant Art & Culture Week 2025, a much-anticipated celebration of creativity, heritage, and self-expression. Spanning five engaging days, the event brought together students from Baby Pre-Nursery to Std. X in a kaleidoscope of activities that inspired imagination and cultural awareness.
The week began with an art exhibition showcasing stunning sketches, paintings, and craftwork created by students. The creativity on display amazed everyone, with themes ranging from “Nature and Wildlife” to “My India, My Pride.” The colorful display turned school corridors into a mini art gallery!
Cultural activities included folk dance competitions, regional song performances, drama enactments, and traditional costume parades. Students embraced the rich diversity of India, dressing up in attire representing different states and performing cultural pieces that reflected their unique traditions.
Workshops on origami, calligraphy, and storytelling were also organized, giving students hands-on exposure to different forms of expression. Teachers and guest artists guided the sessions and encouraged students to explore new creative outlets.
The grand finale featured a stage performance themed “Unity in Diversity,” where students from all classes performed in synchronized dances and skits celebrating national integration, drawing huge applause from parents and guests.
This week wasn’t just about fun — it was a celebration of talent, teamwork, and identity. Art & Culture Week 2025 reminded us that while academic excellence is vital, creativity gives our students the wings to fly.
